Description

Stately 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Restomod W/Ls Swapped 6.0l V8

Chevrolet has amassed a wide empire of lovable offerings over the last 107 years. The iconic Chevelle is one of the most significant products of that ingenuity. Chevy’s venerable A-Body was introduced in 1964 as an economical mid-size car with a wide range of options. But it wasn’t until the late 1960s that the car gained enough cubic inches to be considered a true muscle car. You just won’t find better muscle for the money if you’re searching for some amazing metal that’s unique, appealing, and ready to roll!

History of Americana

Looking for a unique piece of Americana that will make a statement wherever it goes? Simply pick up the phone and call Elite Restomods in Boyne City, Michigan, and we’ll set you up with a fantastic car like this amazing Chevelle restomod! This gruff ground-pounder draws huge crowds and great plaudits because to its 454 cubic inch Chevrolet big block, strong Turbo 400 automatic transmission, and Emerald black looks. It’s also your ticket to fantastic times and great memories if you’re one of the many fans looking for a fun classic that’s unrelentingly cool!

Wicked, Poised and Long

This fantastic A-Body has been painstakingly painted in rich black 2-stage that’s as slippery as oil on a hot drag strip, thanks to a high-quality restoration that displays incredibly well. A traditional Super Sport grille sits in front of that elegant coloring, centered on a crisp “SS” emblem between modern headlights and a mirrored bumper with dazzling parking lamps. A superb Super Sport Hood runs from below that grille to stainless-trimmed glass, which tilts polished wipers behind a chosen Haartz top. A gorgeous Chevrolet-branded profile fires red pinstripes around taut wheel rings, classic door handles, bowtie-branded mirrors, and predictable Super Sport rocker guards on the sides of the hood. A second mirrored bumper frames a color-keyed Super Sport valance that’s capped with new tail lamps at the back of that profile.

Yes, there are 454 cubic inches

With a freshly built World Industries Chevrolet 454ci V8 engine supported by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, you’ll discover 454 cubic inches of street-stomping power lovingly centered in this coupe’s Satin Black engine compartment. A tiny air filter lowers crisp wind into a sleek Holley throttle body that’s hooked to sequential Holley fuel injection at the top of the $15K mill. A lightweight Holley intake surfs that box, flooding lightweight Box Performance cylinder heads. Those port-matched heads support stylish Proform valve covers on superb Crower rockers, which work in tandem with robust H-beam rods to deliver a hearty 10.25 to 1 compression ratio into about 600 horsepower.

Spark is sequenced between an MSD Blaster 2 coil and loomed FireCore plug wires by an MSD Pro-Billet distributor. Between billet serpentine components and Box Performance timing components, a clear Edelbrock water pump joins a polished Tuff Stuff alternator at the front of the block. Custom powder-coated headers handle the exhaust. A polished radiator in front of those tubes makes effective use of two electric puller fans. Corrugated hoses, a hot Optima battery, and a deep Milodon oil pan are among the top ancillaries. And a trick dipstick joins polished fluid reservoirs, a polished SSBC brake booster, and polished Eddie Motorsports hood supports to detail serious performance with serious sparkle.

Black-on-Black-on-Grey

The stylish inside of this Chevelle combines a modern look with timeless charm, making it the ideal spot to cruise the day away! Plush TMI thrones provide seating, which, like the Chevy’s exterior, are outlined in vivid red highlights. A factory console is centered between modified kick panels, monochrome floor mats, and a conventional Hurst shifter at the base of the leather, cut-pile carpet. A little redesigned dash houses serious Auto Meter Sport-Comp telemetry alongside Classic Auto heat and current Kenwood audio in front of that shifter. A polished Billet Specialties steering wheel is spun around a tilting column by the driver. The passengers’ belongings are stored in a custom-upholstered trunk.

Simply put, the metal on this scary Chevelle is among of the best on the globe! The automobile currently offers the best of both worlds: a reliable cruiser and a one-of-a-kind classic that stands out among the sea of brightly colored pony cars and overdone land yachts.
