Description

1979 Chevrolet C10 Frame-Off Newly Built Restomod

Early Chevy pickups are among the nicer rides in the collectible vehicle market when it comes to polished customizations. However, the variety and inventiveness that are driving the historic truck scene become a bit more pedestrian for every “Farm Use” workhorse that is restored and banged.

Thankfully, there are still animals like this seriously awesome C10 that serve as a reminder of how great today’s builders are at transforming original ideas into usable works of art.

This trick truck is the definition of hardworking American muscle, powered by a GM Performance 350 cubic inch engine with an upgraded performance cam and roller rockers and supported by a sturdy performance Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Additionally, they simply don’t get any prettier if you’re looking for a show-worthy cruiser that revitalizes old-fashioned ambition.

Go to the Show!
This special Chevrolet C10 has a custom, motorsports-inspired design that is enhanced by a wet-looking coat of Cardinal Red and Cortez Silver paint. It is a head-turning classic with a touch of muscle car swagger.

After a thorough restoration, the experts at Denny’s Bowtie Restoration skillfully sorted a strong profile that is wrapped in those pigments. And as of right now, this beast is a recognizable Chevrolet icon, ready to spark discussions at gatherings and put an end to arguments at the stop sign!

There isn’t much you can do to improve the attractiveness of an Action Line Chevy. The truck’s robust style was a hit when it was first unveiled, and it still stands as a fantastic representation of some of the best features of the renowned Mid-Century movement today.

World-Class Frame Off Restoration
This custom 1979 Chevrolet C10 is the result of a 2-year frame-off build where every panel was disassembled, primed, painted, or powder-coated. It is powered by a GM Performance 350ci engine with an upgraded performance cam and roller rockers, backed by a fresh performance Turbo 350 automatic transmission and GM 12-bolt posi-traction rear end.

The engine compartment has been smoothed and painted Cortez Silver. Equipped with a max flow radiator, a power booster for front disc brakes, power steering, and a completely new suspension.

The cab and bed were finished in Cardinal Red over the undercarriage and finished in Cortez Silver with powder-coated Cardinal Red control arms and powder-coated Silver with bushings.

The front suspension has McCaugheys drop spindles and Ground Force spring rear suspension that was powder-coated along with lower springs and air shocks.

The Chevrolet C10 restomod features new cab and bed bushings as well as custom black leather power seats, black carpet, door panels, dash pad, silver dash with custom billet inserts, and a custom Flaming River column.

The gorgeous C10 rides on custom US Mag Rambler wheels; 20×8 front and 20×10 rear with Falken tires; 225x35R20 in front and 245x45R20 in the rear.

Just the Basics
If the modified truck’s design didn’t make it clear that it’s not for the timid, its competition-ready interior most certainly will! The interior has custom black leather power seats, black carpet, and custom door panels. In addition, there is a custom console and a silver dash with custom billet inserts. The incredible Chevrolet C10 restomod also has a Flaming River tilt column.

This stunning C10 is a beacon of hot rod skill, being stylish and seductive. Almost every component of this amazing Chevy carries out a concept that is equal parts pedigree and purpose. Why not take on a different challenge? Grab this stylish pick-up and start drawing attention!

This was an intense build of a completely rust-free classic. This is a true pleasure to drive and worry-free enjoyment. Nothing was overlooked in this two-year frame-off restoration. So, this no expense spared build is sure to turn heads wherever you drive.
