World Class 1969 Chevrolet Nova Restomod Demo Vehicle

Chevrolet Nova’s History

Before we get into our World Class 1969 Chevrolet Nova Restomod Demo Vehicle, let’s review the Chevrolet Nova’s history. Chevrolet introduced the Nova in 1962 as an entry-level compact car. By 1969, the Nova had grown in size and power, becoming a formidable muscle car in its own right.

That year, Chevrolet equipped the Nova with a 350-cubic-inch V8 engine that could produce up to 300 horsepower. Coupled with a lightweight body and excellent suspension, the Nova was capable of impressive performance numbers. It could go from 0 to 60 mph in six seconds and complete the quarter-mile in under 15 seconds.

In addition to its raw power, the 1969 Chevrolet Nova featured a sleek design that made it one of the most stylish cars on the road. With its powerful engine and head-turning looks, the Nova was truly a muscle car for the era. Nearly 50 years later, it remains an icon of that golden age of American automotive history.

Elite Restomods Quality Assurance

We have a detailed process for ensuring that our cars meet the highest standards before they get to our showroom floor. We call this methodology the AIM process, which stands for Assess, Identify and Manage. First, we start by performing a gap analysis to identify any areas where the car falls short of our standards. Then, we develop a plan to address those issues and manage the restoration until the car meets our rigorous standards.

An Impressive Demo Vehicle

This Chevy Nova has been expertly designed by Derick Samson of Samson Design in Marshall, Missouri. It’s a one-of-a-kind car that has won multiple awards, including the 2013 Builder’s Choice Award, 2013 Best Custom at Detroit Autorama, and 2014 Best Custom at Kansas City World of Wheels. It was also included as a SEMA feature car at Axalta’s booth in 2014.

A Dedicated Group of Restomod Enthusiasts

At Elite Restomods, we believe that great car audio is essential to building a restomod, and we’re dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our customers. Classic cars are often beautiful works of art, and restoring one to its former glory can be a labor of love. However, many car enthusiasts also want to add modern touches to their classic rides, converting them to restomods.

A restomod is a classic car or truck that has been restored with powerful enhancements, such as a more powerful engine, updated suspension, and modern amenities. Restomods can breathe new life into old classics, and they offer the best of both worlds: the nostalgic appeal of a classic car with the performance of a modern machine.

Premium Restomod Parts and Accessories

With its high-end engine, transmission, and braking system, this restomod is an impressive work of elite craftsmanship. Its 6.0-liter aluminum LS2 V8 engine is capable of reaching top speeds quickly while the 6L80E automatic transmission ensures a smooth ride.

Building a restomod entails sourcing the best classic muscle car parts to achieve the perfect mix of old-school flair and modern power and performance. This can be a challenge as many original parts are no longer manufactured and reproductions may not meet the same high standards.

Fortunately, there are a number of companies specializing in premium restomod parts and accessories. These businesses work closely with classic car experts to ensure that their products meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity. At Elite Restomods, we use only the highest-quality components, such as the parts on display in our 1969 Chevy Nova.

Custom Engine Bay

Derick Samson’s restomod has been exhaustively customized from top to bottom, inside and out. The exterior is finished in a Mercedes-Benz Steppenbraun with pewter gray accents, and the vehicle sits on a set of one-off 20″/18″ custom wheels.

Inside, you’ll find a custom 1956 Bel Air dash, steering wheel, and gauge pod with classic Autometer gauges. The seats are upholstered in brown leather, and the entire interior has a sophisticated yet comfortable feel.

Under the hood, the Nova is powered by a small-block Chevy V8 engine. It features a Heidt’s suspension system, Wilwood custom 4-wheel power disc brakes, and a custom engine bay.

Elite Look and Performance

Our Nova has been upgraded with a handmade engine cover, smoothed body, and handmade polished floor pans. Moreover, the flush-mounted belly pan fits perfectly within the bumper and body, and the fuel-injected LS2 6.0-liter engine gives it plenty of power.

The computer has been fully reprogrammed by Street and Performance, giving this vehicle an intelligent boost in performance. The Heidts Pro G suspension absorbs bumps from rough roads, and the 1956 Chevrolet fender emblems add a touch of nostalgia.

The one-off wheels with 1956 Bel Air emblems give this car the perfect vintage look while providing exceptional modern performance. Finally, the detailed trunk with custom panels rounds out the vintage effect of this beautiful restomod.

A Powerful Audio System

When you look inside this vehicle’s interior, you’ll find a set of high-end Focal Utopia speakers, which are renowned for their clarity and detail. You’ll also see Mosconi amplifiers, which ensure that the audio signal remains clean and distortion-free at all volume levels.

Focal Utopia speakers are among the best in production, and they’re perfect for anyone who wants premium car audio. The company’s flagship model, the Utopia, is a 3-way speaker that uses a woofer, midrange, and tweeter to produce clear, accurate sound. The Utopia is made with Focal’s signature beryllium tweeter, which delivers exceptional detail and imaging.

Mosconi amplification provides the cleanest sound quality available for car audio. The bass is clear and crisp, and the highs are amazingly detailed without being harsh. Moreover, Mosconi amplifiers are highly efficient, so they don’t require a lot of power to produce great sound. General Motors V8 LS2 Engine

Derick Samson’s 1969 Chevy Nova Restomod is a work of art with handmade polished floor pans and flush-mounted belly pans that fit into the bumper and body perfectly. Under the hood, the fuel-injected LS2 6.0-liter engine is a beautiful sight to behold.

The General Motors LS2 engine is a powerhouse that delivers outstanding performance and durability. It’s a popular choice for muscle cars, sports cars, and even some trucks. The LS2 features an all-aluminum block and heads, high-flow cylinder heads, and a unique camshaft profile. It also has forged piston rods, a forged crank, and sodium-filled exhaust valves. The result is an engine that produces tremendous power and torque.

Our demo vehicle’s custom fresh air intake and reprogrammed computer system give it an extra boost of power. The 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission is the perfect complement to the Heidts Pro G suspension. Featuring a phenomenal small-block GM engine, this Nova has benefited from a complete LS swap with a brand new model.

In the restomod industry, Chevrolet’s LS engine has become a go-to choice for engine swaps. The LS is a reliable and powerful engine that can easily be swapped into classic cars such as a Chevy Nova, giving them a modern boost in performance that goes beyond their original capabilities.

A Much More Powerful Vehicle

Back in 1969, the Chevy Nova was a powerful car, but this fully restored and modded version is even more impressive, thanks to a few key upgrades. First, the engine has been completely rebuilt, using high-performance parts that weren’t available in the 1960s. This means that the car now produces significantly more power than it did originally.

Second, the suspension and brakes have been upgraded to modern standards, giving the car much better handling and stopping power. Finally, the interior has been completely revamped with new upholstery, trim, and gauges. All of these changes add up to create a car that’s easily superior to its original counterpart.

Award-Winning Craftsmanship

The Chevy Nova is one of America’s most iconic muscle cars. It quickly became a favorite among gearheads and drag racers for its powerful V8 engine and lightweight body. In 1969, Chevrolet introduced an updated version of the Nova with a longer hood and more aggressive styling.

Today, the 1969 Chevy Nova is highly sought-after by collectors and car enthusiasts. Thanks to its timeless design and performance potential, the Nova has been named one of the “100 Greatest Cars of All Time” by Muscle Car Enthusiast magazine.

The Nova’s restomod status means that it retains its original body and chassis but has been outfitted with eye-catching modern-day components. This makes for a truly unique driving experience that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
